Role Overview: We're seeking a Director of Marketing who embodies our brand's commitment to community impact. This role demands a strategic thinker who can tell the South Block story in a way that resonates and differentiates us in the market. You'll be tasked with developing comprehensive marketing strategies that align with our core values, driving growth and enhancing our community presence. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the development and execution of innovative marketing, advertising, and sales initiatives, ensuring they reflect South Block's identity and community-focused mission. 
  • Design and manage a strategic marketing calendar, setting clear milestones and ensuring alignment with brand objectives. 
  • Oversee digital marketing campaigns, with a strong emphasis on paid advertising and performance marketing, to expand our reach and impact. 
  • Train, manage, and build a high-performing marketing team, identifying key roles and skill sets needed to support our brand's growth. 
  • Engage in hands-on community marketing efforts, promoting and participating in local events and initiatives. 
  • Set, monitor, and report on team goals, demonstrating agility in trying new strategies and detailing progress and achievements. 
  • Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and campaign performance, adjusting strategies to maximize impact and reach. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Proven experience in leading marketing teams, with experience in paid ads and performance marketing. 
  • Strong strategic planning and team-building skills can guide a team to support a rapidly growing brand. 
  • Excellent storytelling ability, with experience in crafting narratives that highlight brand differentiators. 
  • Commitment to community engagement and a deep understanding of how to weave community impact into brand messaging. 
  • Proficiency in setting goals, experimenting with new marketing tactics, and providing comprehensive reports on progress and successes.
