THE ROLE - RESERVATIONS AGENT 

To respond and assist internal and external guests with all enquiries and with making reservations by email, telephone or through a central reservation system.

Responsible for ensuring our guests have the very best experience from the point of enquiry via telephone, email and face-to-face, as well as contributing towards promoting and selling The NoMad London bedrooms and restaurants.

Proactively look for ways to maximise revenue and identify sales opportunities, maximising covers in each of our restaurants through management of our reservation systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Processes reservations by mail, telephone, or central reservation systems.
  2. Processes reservations from the sales office, other hotel departments, and travel agents.
  3. Knows the type of rooms available as well as their location and layout and connection options.
  4. Knows the rates, and benefits of all packages.
  5. Knows the policies of the hotel and how to code each reservation.
  6. Complete the tasks list as part of the daily tasks.
  7. Communicate reservation information to the relevant departments and inform about any important changes.
  8. Understands the hotel's policy on guaranteed reservations and no shows.
  9. Processes advance deposits on reservations.
  10. Tracks future room availabilities
  11. Always maintains a clean and neat appearance and work area.
