Spa Receptionist


Description

We are currently recruiting for a Spa Receptionist to join our Soholistic team at our Ham Yard Hotel.  Working closely with the Spa Manager, it will be your responsibility to focus on providing exceptional service and overseeing the booking processes and scheduling treatments including: massage, facials, manicures & pedicures, and waxing for our in house guests and VIP clientele within all of our 8 London properties. This position requires a candidate that possesses a warm and welcoming nature, excellent communication skills and impeccable personal presentation.

Main Duties:

  • Scheduling spa reservations for all 8 London properties
  • Have a good command of the packages and treatments on offer
  • Develop excellent product and treatment knowledge, in order to recommend to products and treatments that would suit their guests’ needs.
  • Establish strong and professional relationships with the guests to help build a successful client base
  • Ensuring a smooth running of the spa and gym facility on a day to day basis
  • Work towards and achieve all sales targets set by the Spa Manager
  • Meet and greet all guests in a warm and inspirational manner
  • Liaise with the Spa Therapists on a daily basis to ensure all guest’s needs and expectations are met
  • Responsible for opening up the Spa in the morning, meeting and greeting guests and visitors throughout the day and closing the Spa
  • Processing payments, controlling any reception based administration duties, processing vouchers and sale of gym memberships and product sales
  • Ensuring that all facilities are kept immaculate e.g. fruits, water, juices and towel supplies for the guests are restocked
  • Take ownership of the Spa reception and ensure all tasks are completed in timely manner

  • Superb attention to detail and driven by delivering exceptional standards

  • Resilience and drive to get things right first time
  • Competent in answering phone calls and emails in a professional and friendly manner
  • Previous experience as a Spa Receptionist within a 5* hotel or luxury spa is advantageous
  • A high standard of personal presentation
  • Ability to deal with high profile clients in a professional manner
